Art In A City — Logo Design & Identity

Having been named, in part, after my father, Arthur, I’ve always identified very much with my name, Artina. It wasn’t until adulthood, however, that I recognized within it an incomplete phrase: “art in a.” It was an apocalyptic delight.

I had always connected to the idea that the word “art” helped form my name, but the other two words had escaped me. Once I realized that my name could be broken apart to create the beginning of a powerful statement, I was off and running. Combining my name with my love and appreciation for art and my fascination with urban environments became the blueprint for the Art In A City identity and logo.
