Art In A City — Postcard Series

I designed a series of Art In A City postcards using photographs I made of custom-designed pencils that I had originally created for the brand. I became intrigued by the visual possibilities of the pencils themselves and turned them into the subject of a photographic study, arranging them against black velvet to create graphic compositions and letterforms. I then selected several of my favorite photographs and developed them into a series of postcards, designing both the front imagery and the reverse side as a cohesive extension of the Art In A City identity.
